After what would have to have been (touch wood!) the driest spring we have seen for some years in the Clarence Valley, with just the odd afternoon thunderstorm, the fishing has flourished.

Busy but bountiful times

It’s a great time to be fishing on the rivers and offshore, although at times towards the end of the month it can get a tad busy afloat and ashore.

Santa, bring me a dream…

What I’d like for Christmas is the same weather every week of the summer: Friday to Monday, clear, bright days with a cooling, light nor’-easter each afternoon, a Tuesday arvo storm followed by a gentle and refreshing southerly change dropping about 20mm of light rain, and then the cloud would clear late on Thursday.
