Have a look at the Daiwa Tournament Mag 7ht. It's around ABU 6000 size (ie 300m of 0.35mm line). It's a distance casting reel with the mag not slowing it down too much even when on full. Yes, they look good - but I can't find a store in Sydney which stocks any of these clips.

There was an article in Fishing World where they magged a Penn Torque, I'm not sure who did the work though. I have a Torium 20 myself. It will flash like that when it is getting a weak bottom signal. If the depth is within it's normal operating range then there is something wrong with the unit or setup.
