Re: Mudgee Fishing

Hi Luke, The Trout fishing around Mudgee is in fairly poor shape these days due to the drought and overfishing. That doesn't mean you can't catch any, it just means you have to fish smarter.Make sure you have permission to access the properties along the river as the local cockies don't like trespass...

Re: Lake St.Clair NSW

Had another crack at St.Clair yesterday arvo/evening for a tally of 26 Bass.Had 15 in the first hour and a half, all taken trolling on a Marz Bumble Bee in purple. The rest were off the surface on a Predatek Spaddler.Biggest fish gave 40 a nudge but most were around 27-32cm.Missed and dropped a coupl...

Re: Evening creek session.

Bass on surface is as good as Bass fishing gets for me. I agree Tagged.I've been lucky lately and have managed to catch 28 Bass in 3 trips off the surface.Good fishing in my books. That little bug lure in the pics has caught the majority of them.Just cast it out and twitch it on the surface and SPLA...

Re: Lake St.Clair NSW

Spent a few hours at the Lake this arvo and managed to catch another 13 Bass and 1 lone Yella. All fish were caught on a Strike Pro Pygmy apart from 1 which took a small Whitty's Dee-Bob.Not a lot of size to the fish but they still pull hard and are great fun.

Re: Marzy`s Magic

WOW... I see you have a bit of a problem Ziggy, running out of storage room mate.Too many Marzies could cause havoc amongst your other lures so you better send a few here.Or better still keep the Marzies and send me your RMG's and Seekers, they'll be safe with me
