Re: Partner for Gold Coast Gamma Round

Hi Craig,

If I was still up that way I'd put my hand up, but if you need a partner for the Ballina or Yamba rounds let me know.

Won't be the same as pulling "Keggers" out of the Derwent!

Tassie Rounds

Hi Crew,

With all the hoo haa about entry fees I'm getting a bit nervous about entering the 2 tassie rounds as a Non Boater and not making the cut. Are there any kind souls out there who are prepared to add my name to their entry to guarantee it?

Cheers and happy new years

Re: Daiwa BREAM Series- Draft Dates 2011

I thought one of the south oz issues was to have the event in Feb for a better chance of fish? I want to get a point in early while there is still a chance of having it changed!!

Re: Gamma Series 1st round

Hey Mick 1 (Dodgy) noticed the change in your signature, do you not hate Flathead anymore??

Mick 2, surely there is someone in the Ballina area that is keen to start Gamma tournaments and needs an experienced team mate. Can you help!! Please!!

Summer, summer summer.

After missing a whole year of tournaments I'm itching to get back into it, but I'm without a boat and would like to team up with someone in the Ballina area to do some events and just get out and fish. I've caught more barra than bream since I've moved down here! I'm into my last semester at uni so ...

Gamakatsu Ballina Round

Hi Crew, I'm keen for a start in the Ballina Round on June 6th but don't have a boat. I've got team experience so any newby boaters that want to give it a go, or any other boaters with a seat to fill, please let me know.

Re: 3 bream limit for Non Boaters

How about a division like the boaters being able to nominate for a pro bonus, the Non-boaters nominate 3 or 5 on entry. Normal payout applies i.e 50 starters pay top ten and 4 GF places. How about pay to 7 in 5 fish division and 3 GF places and pay to 3 in 3 fish and 1 GF place. Still makes it diffi...

Re: Bream on Fly

I tie my own, in the smaller sizes ( 6 - 4) I use white foam with a bit of white Marabou tail and wrap the body with a Shell Pink thread or a fine pinkish Chenille. If you use a white thread for the body wrap and the fish aren't taking it on the move you can use it like a bread fly as well  Muz...

Re: Tournament boats and yaks

Hey Tom, Some of us actually sell our boats and revert to Yakking just so we can keep the tackle guys employed!! Don't forget we had TWO yak comps on the same day up here (barely 2km's apart, about 80 yakkers) and a Classic comp that was thankfully moved to another river and we had to put up with mo...

Hi Crew,

Wondering if anyone driving down from QLD has a spare seat and are looking for someone to share the costs? Also if anyone has share accommodation available in Sydney?

Cheers

Australian Made Lures

After seeing and adding to the above list I got to wondering, why? Have I missed a post somewhere that is trying to determine the dominant state for lure manufacturing? Am I helping a survey for someone who is looking for a state or territory that they can exploit for lure production? or should I ju...
