That's some fish Alistar.
Just got one query, does the tube of Vegemite sitting on the side of the boat mean that there's a secret ingredient to catching those big ones that we don't know about ?????
If using twisted leaders means landing something like that I'm all for them.

By the looks of it the Cats Paw is the tidiest method of getting the leader attached to the split ring.
Went on the Leadertec site, seems to be heaps of info there.

This may have been done to death but I can't find it anywhere. Using twisted leaders to fish for barra up the cape and don't seem to be able to get a satisfactory method of joining the twisted leader to the split ring in the lure. Thanks fish33 Have done both of your suggestions before joining the forum. No reply from either one of them. Was after a worm shaft and line guide assy. As we mainly go for barra in the cape I've bought 2 new rods and have taken the line guide and worm shaft out of the Daiwa and will just use it for...
