Re: braid

braid lays very well on the emblem ,as i said before its only about 5% behind full tournament style spinning reels , one day you will all understand for the average fisherman to achieve extreme fishing distance you need to use technology with tenquice and you will buy big distance , braid dia to mon...

Re: Surf spinning

they are a good reel ,in distance they are only around 5% behind my comp reels ,no backing just straight 10 lbs fireline ,when you say heaver raiders ,i don't cast many over 85 grams on this set up ,40 and 65 go far enough for most spots ,

Re: Cannon release mechanism

Ive cast spinning reels a hell of a long way and found the cannon to be of little use if any ,get your self a good finger grip or tape it up , you will not buy any extra distance ,

Lee looks good ,we need new blood in the fede...

Eddie , I use 8lbs for 56 grams and either 10 or 14 for 112 as well for art bait ,If I have had some time beforehand to work on my timing I use the 10 ,if not the 14 is fine ,just get your knot worked out and test it .
Where are casting at .forget the 20 it dose not go far enough.
