Re: Port River BREAM Qualifier- Boundary Expansion

We are turning on the weather this weekend here in sleepy old Adelaide Sat - 27 wind N 7 km/h, Sun - 31 NW 13 km/h, should make fishing the extended boundries very comfortable.

See ya's there.

Re: $200 fee for 2011

I understand why the ABT have done what they have and believe that it is a good move BUT (thats a big but) I have to say that I think this is only catering to the top 15 - 20% of the anglers. I have never come in the top 10 (oops once at the SA round) but now have to start thinking about what comps...

Re: $200 fee for 2011

I think plenty has been said on this subject, for me raising the fees to $200 has put the ABT out of reach, and after purchasing a boat and spending the last 18 months getting it tournament ready, $200 is a big slug to the wallet when you have a family, mortgage, 2 cars to run and bills etc etc. It ...

Re: TackleJunkie Mag?

We send 90% of the Tackle Junkie magazines free into tackle stores. The last 10% we put through the newsagent system, so that there's some left for people to get hold of when the tackle stores run out. Quite within their rights to sell them - we recommend the $4.95 price tag - same as 2010 V/TASFM ...

TackleJunkie Mag?

I have a question to SM in regards to the Tacklejunkie mag. A few guys on another forum have posted the 2011 TJ mag is out in Adelaide News Agents and it does say FREE on the mag but News Agent owners here in Adelaide are putting a $4.95 price sticker over the FREE label. Is this correct? and are th...

Re: New Measuring System for BREAM Events

We ran with the new measuring rule for the first time in the SABT classic on the weekend and it was no issues at all for anyone. I must admit I was a bit confused when I first read this post but after Tom explained it at the briefing ...... * bream mouth closed with nose touching edge of ruler * tai...

Swap: Daiwa Freams Kix 2500

Howdy all, I have a Daiwa Freams Kix 2500 I'd like to swap for another Daiwa reel 2000 size. The real is basically the same as a Sol but silver, it has the Digigear drive system and is a Real Four reel which means you can add all the RCS parts and upgrade the drag and comes spooled with 6lb Fireline...

Re: Seal Ply Wood Deck & Floor

LL, For what its worth I was told to just paint the entire surface with bondcrete a few times to protect the ply. I did this in a couple of my boats with no problems (at least for a couple of years before I sold the boat's). Jay Thanks Jay, so bondcrete could be used as an all-in-one, by looking at...

Seal Ply Wood Deck & Floor

G'day All, I'm looking for an inexpensive sealant for the ply wood floor & casting deck on my tinny. I was thinking of going with a wet area paint, someone suggested International Everdue but that is a 2 part sealer and not cheap at $40 a part (part A & part B) for 500ml each, that could end up bein...

I was 'considering' some ebay Daiwa reels, glad I read this first
Buy from your local Daiwa stockist and you'll be backed up 100%.
That's the best way to do it.

Re: Tour Guides on their Way

With our TAGs being in the Newsagents and not our letter boxes, I wounder if Australia Post have a back log of deliveries from the xmas strike. The Newsagent TAGs I think would have been couriered out wich would be a 24 to 48 hr turn around and it on the sheleves. (just a theory).
