Daiwa reel, Samurai Reaction rod, Watersnake electric

The aftermath of three really rough days on the water for the Aus Open I've got a lovely big bill for boat repairs so this stuff needs to go quick. All prices include postage anywhere in Aus and everything is priced to sell quick and I'm not taking offers on them. Samurai Reaction 203 2-6lb 7’ – Med...

FYI too............

Being an observer is great. I had the pleasure of being Steve's observer last year and now I'll be fishing the Aus open alongside Steve. And let me tell you, all his secrets have been working great on the harbour the last few weeks

Steve Morgan.
I don't too many people have quite taken on board exactly what Steve said there. Think about it.

Re: R3 Daiwa-Hobie Bream Kayak Series

Hi Guys, I'll be your Tournament Director for the comp with the Seeto brothers in tow to help out. Just a quick reminder to everyone. All anglers must be wearing a PFD type1 for insurance purposes and we are going to be checking before the start. Thanks everyone and we'll see you on the morning, Jos...

Re: DAIWA Australian Open Dates and Format Shift Ideas.

All the reasons you have stated for changing the format sound good to me. I would be more likely to enter this event than a teams format one. There are plenty of team series around now (too many some may argue) and personally I think the idea of a stand alone "Open" with no non boaters is the way to...

Re: B.A.S.S. Sold!

Ummm........ part of the conditions of sale were that ESPN retained the broadcast rights.

I also find it funny that Jerry McKinnis who has been very vocal AGAINST tournament Bass fishing in the past is one of the guys that bought B.A.S.S.

Re: Marine Safety Victoria - Minimum Safety Equipment

Just to be clear..........

Are the events being run on what is considered "Bays and Estuaries" or "Lakes, rivers and Dams"?

One means you need an extra $100 worth of flares and the other doesn't

The greatest invention for Non Boaters

This little gadget ha been around for a little while now but I thought I might put it up for the NB's because I know I have spent a lot of time untangling rods that have made whoopy on those stupid ramps. Only $90 and with the dollar so strong it won't be too much more. http://www.tacklewarehouse.co...

Calling Bream Grand Final entrants from WA

I'm just doing a bit of a call out to any of the Bream Grand Final entrants from WA as I have a way that may make it a little cheaper for you to get there and back again. So if you are a boater or a non boater entrant and you are thinking of driving to Mallacoota please give me a PM here 8) Thanks, ...

So does this mean I can build a pulley system for the Gold Coast Bream event to get me up into the landlocked canals and weigh a couple of 7kg bags?

Re: BBS drag?

As much as it seems like there are heaps of different drag washers out there when it comes to carbontex there are only 3 size that most Daiwa reels use. Large, that go in an S-Extreme, Medium and small that go in most other reels. You need 2 medium and one small. The regular Daiwa low profile set fr...

Re: Tournament Gear... your thoughts please.

I would say your first two hard body set ups are perfect. Both those Saltist rods are great for the money and even though the 7'1" is the cheapest Bream rod I own it would be one of my most used. I think Sols are the best value reels out there bar none. They have all the technology and bearings need...

OK, a few of the Jap topwater went before I even put the post up and so here is the rest. None of the listed lures are mine and I'm probably lucky I asked the owner how much he thought these were worth as I would have let them go for a steal Daiwa Pop'n Frogs. A strange looking wakebait that I'm tol...
