For sale is my Barra combo that I don't get much use for no that I have moved to the south coast of NSW :) Combo consists of a Penn 955 baitcaster + Strudwick hardbaitz 6-8kg. Spooled with 20 lb braid. Reel is is in excellent condition and rod is brand new. Looking for $220 with free delivery Photos...

Combo's for sale

1. Penn 955 baitcaster + strudwick 6-8kg $200
2. Dawia Cielo 7' 2 4-12lb + Dawia Laguna 2000 and spare spool $150

Both rods are near brand new and both reel are in very good condition. Will post at buyers expense and will supply rod tube free.

Yes you are right basserman, and it actually went 4.45kg (Australian Record). I grew up on this river and have caught some good fish in it, my best 3.1kg on mullet gut including the onion and 1.4kg on lure. But my personal favourite there are the Jacks, best 49cm. In Rocky try under the "new" bridge for Barra and King also try the wharf at the eastern end of the city and if you have a boat there are plenty more spots. A place called fishing creek north of Yeppoon hard to find but worth the effort and corowman ck near emu pk if you have a boat.
