Bream Orders

Guys, Just so the phone calls stop. I am no longer taking orders for Bream, be it crumbed, battered or just plain old fillets. Marcel has put a quick stop to that. But .I do know that Steve Wilson will be taking orders for Flathead fillets leading up to and during the upcoming classic. :twist...

Re: Things you see at the ramp

I suppose we are all allowed to muck it up at the ramp, I saw a fellow competitor go of the edge of that ramp last week  I am guilty of being a goose at a ramp aswell.. On the very first attempt to launch my brand new boat, I went A over T into the drink and I also has an audiance. Now one la...

More than just Taree mick, (unless I'm totally blind) but nice of you to promise to update the list so we can see what the teams have been winning.

Things you see at the ramp

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I have to relay what I saw today. When back at the Kennedy Dve ramp at lunchtime today after a pleasant day on the water, there were two 60 odd year old men (my Wife calls them "mid life crisis") with their young mail order wives launching a couple of...

Re: A question for classic organisers

Mango. Let it be known that I am a VICTORIAN and don't care for rugby. I'm sure it's illegal in Tassie. My 4 Boys are Queenslanders and the older 2 are just now getting organised to watch grown men in rucks (is that what it called) bum sniff each other. But as a question . would there now be enough ...

Re: New Measuring System for BREAM Events

Simon As we are already used to the fork length method, why not just increase the QLD rounds to 24cm fork . These fish will still be over the state regs of 25 to tail and keep the measuring method as the tried and true fork length. By all means trial the new method at the Tweed and see how it goes. ...

A question for classic organisers

Hi Guys I've noticed of late that when the results are posted of the many "classic" comps that we now have , that the prize money or prizes awarded are not listed. Alot of us would like to know "who won what" Yes , some comps do display the prizes , it's not all of you. And you are all doing a great...

Re: ABT INSURANCE

That sounds right to me Darren. And as an extra, in fishing these comps and by taking a non boater on your boat , You would have rocks in your head not to have adequate insurance . Regardless of what ABT insurance covers it would be in any boat owners best interest to have their own Public liability...

Re: SX 40'S

Bloody hell !! I'm just trying to sell some lures for Arthur . he is giving me a mighty commission for selling them. Leave me alone unless you want to buy them. fish them like you do for whiting ? I struggle with Bream, not gonna try whiting. Is that a hint that a whiting comp is on the cards ?? Wil...

Congrats Browny

Well done Browny on taking out the Kayak GF.

Good work. That town of Taree sure has some good anglers living there.

Also well done to all other place getters, I can only imagine how hard it would be to push a kayak along and then fish.

Re: ABT membership

It's pretty simple isn't it..
If you expect to be able to fish an ABT comp , pay your membership !!

I wouldn't blame ABT at all if they pushed the issue and said that only financial members can fish.

Re: Us Queenslanders are pretty smart ....

Who was it Steve ?? spill the beans ! Rob and Chris left their mojo in the back shed at wishey's place at Redland bay so no chance of a win with them. Butler ,I reckon was too far out and neaded a bag of the century to come from 16 to win. Darren came number 2 if it wasn't for Russ b He would have w...
