Re: ABT ASSISTANT TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR

I heard the rumour yesterday that it is Marcel who is leaving ! He must have missed Geelong so bad he's going back. If it is Marcel who is leaving , the applicant needs to be able to fill the big shoes of Marcel. Needs to have the eye of a jeweller to be able to see the slightest bit of colour on th...

Gold Coast comp

I know ABT has never canceled or postponed a comp. But with the unfolding crisis in Ipswich and Brisbane . Flooding also in northen NSW.
Has ABT had any thoughts on postponing the Goldy comp ?

If anyone is in low areas in Bris and Ipswich, stay safe.

Re: Daiwa BREAM Series- Draft Dates 2011

Pretty happy to see an entry fee increase this year. Alot of guys were saying that they would like to see a higher prize pool. An entry increase is the way to get the prize pool increase. Good move as far as I'm concerned

Re: Marina Fishing Rules Debate

The marina issue always causes some sort of confusion especially seems that way in NSW. At the Goldy the main marina of concern (marina mirage) just had a blanket no fish zone put on it, even to the point of the beacons in the channel was the boundary. It was always clear up here until the outside e...

Re: REEF SCIENCE STAGE TANK AT ABT EVENTS

I agree with with part of what Dizzy said. Get a tackle company/ sponsor to cover it. if the competitors are to pay extra that should go back to us as an increase of prizes.

Re: REEF SCIENCE STAGE TANK AT ABT EVENTS

I don't think the tanks needs to be at all events. It would be good at the events that get a larger crowd, such as the Clarence or Taree . I wouldn't bother at events like the Goldy or Bribie.
They are good but can't say that I really miss them.
