JUMBUCKS by John Laws

These are 4 original timber Jumbuck lures made by John Laws the original maker. I suspect they are very rare as they are the only timber Jumbucks I've seen or heard about. If anyone has anymore I'd like to see them. http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp98/Pics-from-Digs/FM/IMG_3238.jpg http://i401.p...

Identifying & Ageing Ken Hendry Seekers

The nine lures pictured are all the same age & came direct from Ken in April 1993. No two of these lures have the same identifying features to help age Ken's lures. Same sized lures have different coloured eyes &/or different styles of eyes as can be seen with the two larger 110mm lures. Some had pi...

Re: Seeker 90

I've actually made a mistake and called the above frog a 90 when in fact it's a shallow 110.

Tagged,

I'll take a heap of pics showing the differences & try and explain just how hard it is to age these lures.

Tagged,

Is that a genuine Moller lure?

If so, I'd be interested to know why it was sanded & subsequently signed by Newell :?: :?: :?:

RTB Legend Lures

These are all the models Ray Broughton [original maker] did. Top lure is a 125mm Salty, then 125mm, 85mm, 65mm all Freshwater lures. The only difference between the 125 salt & freshwater lures is that the salty bib is polished whilst the fresh is painted. http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp98/Pics...

Re: Wierd Lipless

Don't know the bottom lure, posibly a Japanese copy?????

The top lure is called an Optic, came in two versions, same eyes as your as well as "normal" eyes, made 1959-1962

Don't know the actual name of the manufacturer.

WA-Cottage Industry Lures

These 4 lures were made around 5 years ago by a private maker whose name eludes me. If anybody recognises them a name would be nice to go with the lures. Beautifully finished lures made for the likes of Barra etc. http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp98/Pics-from-Digs/FM/WAUnknowncottageindustry.jpg...

Bill Pressler - Magnum Products

Made by the often unheard ex pat Canadian Bill Pressler along with his range of magnum products. Some may remember the "magnum" downrigger, magnum dodgers and the small line of lures that Bill adapted from Canadian salmon plugs to Australian Trout plugs. These lures were based on the Lyman J Plug if...

Nice lures tagged, made by a true gentleman & excellent craftsman. I've got a couple more somewhere that i'll photograph and post pics of. These are some of Carl's 1st lures with an unusual "H" stamped on the belly. These are the only 7 lures Carl stamped so I'm told which were done for a journalist...
