Hi guys .....newbie to the site.
I am guessing that this is mainly a qld site....I live in Victoria but fish all over the place.
I love many kinds of fishing but for some reason have a passion for what many others consider bycatch.....the humble Dusky.
I started chasing them about 11 years ago and it took about 5 years before I got my first 5kg fish....these days despite the 6 hours drive to get to some decent grounds I have been getting them much more often.......heres a few from the last 2 trips
Hope you enjoy the pics and look forward to being a part of the site.

all on plastics mate....Poddys have acounted for some nice fish in the years past but you cant beat the placcys...more fun to use and mostly result in shallow hook ups, meaning so far 100% release on the big girls.

Plastics....much more fun and shallow hookups mean so far 100% success on releasing the big girls

have to agree with the plastics being more fun. do you fish into the edges or into the middle of the lake. We fish the lakes enterance fishing comp last week and struggled to get anything above 60cm.
