Gold Coast Fishing Charter trip reports - June 2015

Post by SmarterFishnCharters » Fri Jun 12, 2015 12:59 pm

Over the last six weeks, the Gold Coast (Qld) has seen a continuation of pelagic species catches and some strong indications of a strong winter season on Gold Coast reefs. The mackerel and tuna season refuses to end with consistent landings into through May into June. In the lead up to the winter season, Squire have been caught in increasing numbers and size, indicating a strong Snapper season when the water temperature tapers off.

Below are reports from various fishing charters operating on the Gold Coast.

Avenger Fishing Charters Gold Coast reported consistent landings of Spanish Mackerel along with Yellowfin Tuna, Mac Tuna and Cobia (Black Kingfish).
