Just arrived back, the mainland is still swaying. Due to weather we fished the Swains area, Did a lot of outside work only anchoring in the reefs at night, what an awesome experience, most fishing was done in 30 - 50m of water, 10 red emperor came aboard biggest at 9kg, Jigging accounted for 15 + kg Spanyards and 20kg GT's. If anyone is interested in a trip like this give let me know I can pass on details.

Cheers
Chris

Chris,

After a rough week offshore, I'm surprised that you can hit the right keys on the keyboard!

I agree - everyone's gotta experience the reef at least once.

Hi all, is this still a "must do" destination. Anyone been out there recently and want to comment. Thanks, Ian.
