Original Kevlar wrap was built with Graphite butt section and e/glass reinforced tip . The butt area was where the kevlar reinforcing was and they made a nice rod for lighter sinkers etc but have a lot of power in the butt for putting pressure on a fish.

I had one made up with full Graphite and increased wrap and it is an excellent rod matched to my preferred overheads. The standard models were a good match for the Sidecast and tossing pillies and gars up north.

Hope this helps a little.
