crafty ,

Haven't seen the rods in question and if you could post a link to where they are advertised that would be good.

Diawa make a quality product and some of their top line surf rods are brilliant.

Regards :D

I searched the net for info on them and got nothing. I came across them like you in the back of the 2007 catalogue, listed as coming summer 2007 along with Grandwave surf rods. Think I remember reading somewhere that the Gandwave surf rods are a discontinued bottom to middle of the price range US rod. Wish Daiwa Aust would bring in some of the better US or UK surf rods.

Hi Jeremy, can't find any info on the web about them. Just saw them in the daiwa catalogue that came with one of the fishing rags. They sound interesting!

I have both the 12ft and 13ft version for Mulloway fishing matched up with a Saltiga Surf 6000 spooled with 30lb saltiga surf braid.
12ft rated 15-30lb and 13ft rated 20-40lb
Awesome rods, on the 13ft I can cast a 6oz grapnel with a whole salmon trout with ease, very light and sensitive rods also

Haha I posted this in 2006 and finally got an answer.

Thanks for that. I never ended up buying one.

Cheers
