I was thinking of playing around with a go pro camera, anyone out there played with them? whats the best option as far as mounts, extra batteries, even sd cards. And if you have had a go at them what other stuff would you recomend

A mate of mine uses on of them I think. The name sounds familiar and his is generally attached to the end of a tag pole when he's out off the shelf catching marlin. His is waterproof and he gets some great footage both underwater and out of the water when catching the fish. Can't tell you much about mounts or batteries, but I think they take SDHC cards and around 32GB gives several hours of footage. I can provide a weblink if you want to see some of his video uploads in action in wild seas and underwater!
