jervis bay

G'Day all, newbie to this site, from Nambucca Heads, there is a mob of us who usually travel north on our annual fishing trip, between 10 and 20. Have been draging our boats up to Stanage Bay north of Rocky for the last 4 years but have been beaten by the wind, 8 weeks at Stanage, 8 days on the water.Next year we have decided to look south and Jervis Bay took our attention. We are looking at maybe March or April, our boats are 5.5 to 6 meter tinnies. It seems, snapper, kings and squid are the main targeted species. We are also aware of the Marine Park and the santuary zones. We will also be looking for self contained accomodation, cabins or houses. Been looking on the web for info, however any local knowledge or info you guys can provide will be most welcome. I'm the secretary and treas of the Nambucca Offshore Club and happy to impart my knowledge to anyone traveling this way. 0407455378. Ratsack
