Filling old drill holes in fibreglass hull

Post by Luke G » Mon May 21, 2012 8:06 pm

Hi,
I have just changed over sounder brands so the transducer mounting holes are different. What is the best way fill/seal the old holes?

Cheers

Howdy,

There's a product very similar to this one:

http://www.polymericsystems.com/epoxies ... uamend.htm

Available at Bunnings and is pretty good for fibreglass use. There's a few different types, just read the labels and it tells you which one does what.

Putty looks grey but becomes white after mixing.

Works well and can be drilled/sanded etc.
