12 inch Scorpion

Post by Tagged » Tue Oct 13, 2009 8:12 am

This is a framed Scorpion by Peter Newell. Cost is about $200.00 to get it framed and is well worth it. As are all Australian made lures, got a few sets waiting to go in to be done but the Grand Final shirt jumped the queue.

A top job Tagged, a brilliant display of a rare lure. Is that one of the first nudies Peter released & I`m thinking the only one in that size.

The only one, it looks great. Even non lure collectors have a good read and think it looks great.
Next lot is my JaySea set, I've sent Warren a copy of the plaque but he hasn't got back to me. I want to make sure it's not to offensive, if you know the story behind the JaySea name. It's not something that's easy to write about, and yet there's no way around the facts. It just need to be worded correctly.

Very nice and a great way to display the lure and history. Whilst the Kadaitcha's are nice I think the Scorpion's rate right up beside them as well.

Here is a similar sized one that is coming my way this week. A painted one with twisted wire hangers
