New England Lures

Post by Tagged » Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:41 pm

New England Lures, one of the best finishes getting around. Also one of the best presented collectibles around, each one is numbered and signed. Each lure has a name and model, I think the middle one was Mud Raker Fire Tiger. Might be by Mike Skelton, but I'll need some help there.

Tagged,
You are right with the Fire Tiger 120 Mudraker, the other is Frog Green colour.
Mike Shelton,Stu Pearce & Wendy Hinton are the very nice & easy to get on with people at New England Lures.

Very nice lures. I have drooled over the full set of Mudrats before and have put an order in for a set from the boys (sadly unsigned as the ones in the pics were the last set to be done so) The Rats are my favorite but the Rakers and Mudlers are just as good in top class quality build and paint. I assume the Mudrats are posted by the owner, V?

Alistair,
Have to agree, the rats do have something special about them & agree also with the quality in build & paint.
I am lucky enough to be the custodian of these little babies.

Tony,
Falky has a couple of special Muddlers he will no doubt post when he works out how, he is a little slow you know. It only took the chief half a day to teach me how.

Some more signed 120`s & some unsigned 120`s, plus a little bit of info on them.

Ridiculous when you think about it but it would be hard throwing such a good looking lure in the water to be dragged along rocks, mud, trees etc

You forgot about those nasty fish that mess them up!

Hope to catch one of those scoundrels next week - been too long off the water for me, last trip with you put me off a bit (must have been the waves dumping in my lap! Nothing personal Al)
Cheers,
Tony

Adam, Bring your 32`s up when you come & we`ll let them get together for a while. Might even get a family group photo & take them down to Glenbawn for a swim .
