JaySea Freddo

Post by Tagged » Tue Jul 21, 2009 8:33 pm

Extremely rare Freddo Frog lure by Warren Nicholson of Tewantin. Alan Dolan only made 50 of these for Warren and they weren't very popular. They sat on their back because of the hooks being opposite each other. They were made in two sizes in the timber stages with only this one being reproduced by Alan. The body is about the size of a stubbie lid.

Hi Tagged,
the JaySea Freddo was moulded by Peter Howard after he split with Allan Dolan, Allan never done any of the Freddo's, the early problems with the Freddo were solved by adding internal weights but because of the work involved the Freddo was shelved, as you say only about 50 were ever moulded.

Cheers Neeko
