One of the Mates.

This one is from a mates collection, 70mm body,twisted hangers. Looks familiar but I have no idea.

Looks like an old Gwydir Gobbler, probably not though.

At first look i thought it was one made by 'the chief' in his own image but then i realised it was far too good looking to be modelled on him & could even serve a genuine purpose & catch a fish - something 'the chief' has never been good at...

Goodoo, I only have recent model Gobblers to compare but after looking, other than the tow point, I can see what you mean.They have a lot in common.

Rupe, again,great observation skills & valid points, but the only thing the Chief can make is trouble. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ziggy, here's a few pics of a very similar looking Gwydir Gobbler that I have.The main difference is the tow point, every thing else looks pretty close.Let me know if you want measurements.

There are probably minor differences, but thats the good thing about hand carved lures.
