I have picked up this lure in the hope of identifying it, which I am confident is a New England maker as it was picked up in that area approx 19 years ago and has many of the area traits. I thought it may of been a RMG at first due to the fact it was picked up at the same time a bunch of his were also (Rellik-Docs, Battle Axes, Biggoons and Tor-Toof's) Apart from the Lexin bobbed Tor-Toof the bibs on the others look identical to the unknowns (size, shape, thickness and towpoint holes), like they came from the same press which I beleive to be the case after discussing it with Ron Gaden who said that he did give a number of bibs at the time to Brett Campbell (confirmed not his lure) Peter Newell (I dont believe it is one of his ) and Jamie Flett and his father (who I have send pics and an email to). The only diference between them is on the unknown the tow point holes have had the inside edges smoothed out by a bigger drill bit. Can anyone remember if this is a trait of any maker?
The scale pattern on the lure is also distinctive but so far I have not found a match anywhere. I do believe I have seen the same pattern before though so if anyone can remember it let me know. Fingers crossed it was a good buy and not an expencive gamble
Pics are with a 3.5 inch (body) Battle Axe and Biggoon
