Timber Cray lure

Post by TonyM » Sun Aug 09, 2009 8:26 pm

Any ideas on this one?

The eyes and "roe" on the belly appear to be beads (possibly glass)

The body is 3 & 5/8“ long

Thanks Tagged.

The mate that was kind enough to part with this doesn't know what it is either. It would be really nice to find out.

Whoever made it certainly was a talented craftsman. Elsewhere it has been mentioned the colours are reminiscent of those used by Keith Baker, although if it's one of Keiths it's unlike any others I've been able to find on the net - possibly a one-off or prototype?
Cheers,
Tony
