ABT ASSISTANT TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR

Post by mango » Wed Feb 16, 2011 5:23 pm

With ABT on the look out for a new assistant tournament director I was wondering if anybody else had thought about giving them a hand with their selection process. After a very short elimination process I will be passing my thoughts onto the current Director ...............my choice in no particular order Dizzy or D Welfare.

Jeeeze Mango, dunno about that, not sure if I have the right qualifications................. A tourney director needs to be comfortable in the public eye, and capable of presenting fish in an appealing manner.

How about this bloke? 8)

30m rule be damned - a lure in the head wins everytime..........

Hang on Dave the job is only for an assistant, that young chappy looks like foreman material! BTW who is that and what bar did you find that pic in?

I heard the rumour yesterday that it is Marcel who is leaving ! He must have missed Geelong so bad he's going back.

If it is Marcel who is leaving , the applicant needs to be able to fill the big shoes of Marcel.
Needs to have the eye of a jeweller to be able to see the slightest bit of colour on the ruler to disqualify your catch, have encyclopaedic knowledge of the rules to again be able to disqualify your catch.

What will happen to the official ABT ruler that Marcel keeps in an atmosphere controlled safe in the office at ABT. ?
Who will step up and take control of such an important measuring device ?
When this ruler is in Marcels hands , hardened tournament anglers become nervous. Second guessing thier own ruler and measuring.

Who is capable of such responsability ?
Only time will tell !!
Good luck to the applicants
Good luck Marcel
I still hate Flathead

Our insurance would be be null and void if we employed Mick.

No insurance company in their right might would allow us to take on such risk!
