they have had a fair bit of crazy weather, if they are streaming through a 3g or similar network that could be creating some issues.

I was at the weigh in at mallacoota and someone pulled the power plug so nothing working for a while. This might explain and couple of black screens. Cheers REEDY

I'll tell you something strange while watching the last couple of live stream events

The score board updates even before the angler has weighed in.
Almost like there is some sort of lag in the video.
Gott asay though. The stream at Coota seemed to be all over the shop. a couple of times anglers names dropped off the score board alltogether.??

But, the live stream is really a great idea.
I still hate Flathead

Guys,

Apologies for the issues with the live stream at Mallacoota.

Various issues, including a kid literally pulling the plug to all the power. We're working on it.

The live scoreboard will always be ahead of the stream - it instantly updates to the web every 20 seconds, whereas the live video feed usually has a delay from one to several minutes. Same as the Vodafone cricket live stream. If I hear something exciting on the radio I can crank up the live stream on the mobile phone and catch all of the action due to the delay.

And, all of it is at the mercy of the NextG Data speeds.

Regardless, we're sure we can have it functional MOST of the time, and there were around 800 unique viewers on the weekend, so we'll keep working at it.

Cheers,
