Draw for GF
Is there any chance of having the draw and posting it before the briefing so we can pre-fish with our 1st day partners? Maybe it could be streamed from ABT HQ???

Re: Draw for GF
Drew,
I'd say no - because it would advantage those guys who could pre-fish together over those that couldn't - there may be many non-boaters who aren;t turning up until the briefing day. But ultimately, it's up to the TD (Simon).
Cheers,
SM

Re: Draw for GF
Maybe something to look for in the future, everybody could plan there trip around pre-fish and onwards and it could even up the fields a lot more.
Re: Draw for GF
I'd say no as well.
i would say yes to a list, where like a post , you put your name and number plus boater or non status on it
the list is for persons looking for a partner on prefish days.
there boaters and nonboaters can ring each other to meet up. No work for simon then
.
this could work for all comps not just GF.
nice theory thou Drewy but hard to do.

Re: Draw for GF
The draw has to be done either way, so there's no extra work for anyone. You are fishing as a team, not on any individual weight so it makes sense.

Re: Draw for GF
Drew,
So you win the Grand Final after being one of the few who did actually get to practice with your day one partner.
Someone says you had an unfair advantage. Are they right?

Re: Draw for GF
For this year I agree its definitely to hard to manage, but for the shared weight events in the coming years it could be good for all. I'm sure the nonboaters would love an extra day on the water.

Re: Draw for GF
There's not too many non-boaters that want to get out on a practice day that we can't find a ride for - shared weight or not.
Some call ABT and some post here.
