Baitcaster vs spinning reel

Hey everyone new to the site and was wondering which people prefer baitcaster or spin reel?

Hi mate t tend to use spin a lot now but still have some baitcasters for specific use like throwing hard bodies for jacks barra ect.

It really depends on what I'm fishing for and/or what I'm using on the end of the line!!!

I normally use spin but am slowly changing to overheads

I thought spinning reels are a lot easier to use/learn on? Even I can use them. They often have convertible left/right wind that bait casters don't have

While bait casters are for lure heads who often need to cast on a dime, snag ect as they offer better distance accuracy.

I do think that bait casters are sexier although your first bird nest may deter you.
