ABU Soron STX

Post by Bream Fisho » Thu Apr 16, 2009 2:01 pm

Hi I was just wondering how you use the Superline Spool feature on the Abu soron STX reels.

I know your meant tie your braid directly to the rubber O-Ring caps or something like that.

If there is anyone that knows what your meant to do and can elloborate that would be great.

You are correct when you say you should attach or tie your braid to the rubber O'Ring. It is best practice to wrap it around 6-8 times directly into the ORing to ensure that the braid will not cut or spin on the spool. Because of the shallow nature of the spool the braid comes off quickly so there is no need to fill it to the brim. They are a great reel terrific for bream, bass flathead, barra you name it.
Hope this helps.

hi Brad,

When you say tie the braid directly into the O'Cap do you mean: You pull the O'Cap out a little bit then tie your braid onto it, put the O'Ring back in place, then with your hands wrap it onto the O'ring 6-8 times.

Cheers
