Hi All

looking to enter my 1st Bass comp, just curious what is the advantage of paying $20, what does it get you ?

hi Andy,
not sure if I am on the right track but if you are talking about the $20 to option up all that money goes into a prize pool which is split amongst the anglers who optioned up. The way it works is that it is payed back to the highest placed "option up" anglers in a 1 in 4 ratio. So for example if only 3 people optioned up whoever finished highest would take home $60. You could placed 12th overall in the comp but if the other two finished lower in the placings you would be the 1st placed "option up" angler and take the money.
