Clarrie Hall 18Th March Electric Comp

Post by Tony Payne » Thu Mar 15, 2012 5:56 pm

Hi All,

Clarrie Hall Bass electric.

Same old same old no different from the other years. 
Gates should be open by 5.30am NSW time; if not nothing we can do about it.
Caretaker lives on site and it is up to him to unlock said gate.

If you are very early and it is unlocked it would be a nice gesture to wait till the 5.30am start time been agreed to by the NSW council. Unfortunately we have to drive past his house to get to ramp.
I know you are all great competitors and in past have had no problems. As usual penitence is need at the single lane ramp but we should all be in water with heaps of time.

7.00am start and 1.00pm finish. All NSW times.

If it is pouring down rain, look for the sign on to be held at the undercover BAR-B-Que area on the right hand side as you just go past the toilets and head down the hill to the ramp.

As Ian’s post he is in charge of live well checks.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the day and hope to weigh some big Bass.
Regards tony
Cheers Tony

Tony, I honestly believe that if I need to stand in the rain, I would expect the organiser to do likewise.

Hi Dazza,

heading out to the dam from Murwoolumbah you will come to a lovely section of road and a sign that says, " Clarrie Hall Dam " DO NOT take this exist, continue on the same road for approx 7.5 Klm and you will come to a road on the left called Doon Doon Creek road. it has a huge row of pine tree's on the corner of this road.

Follow this road as far as you can and it will take you to Crams Farm which is where the boat ramp is located. At the entrance to the public area you will go through a gate and a bitumin road please drive slowly past the house you will see. Once you get close to here you will see the head lights of other cars.

Good luck all and have a nice day !
