Haswing electric motors

Post by mugger » Sun Jul 01, 2012 7:24 pm

Hi all , after seeing Haswing motors advertised in NSWFM
I had a look at there website . They don't look too bad for the coin ! I'm interested in the Comax ( 55 lb thrust tiller steer ) . Does anyone have any experience with these ? I would use it as a replacement for my very slow 32 lb tiller steer and to be used in the bass electrics on my 10 foot tinny . The Comax also has the interesting feature of adjustable shaft height with the press of a button , handy for going over weed beds and shallows . Look forward to any feedback . Cheers Mark

Thanks BOZ , yeah i did see them , i really wanted to go for another 12 volt motor to save on weight and also the cost of another decent battery . I have a bow mount too so i think another battery would be a bit much ? Cheers

i was in that same position, i have 3 batteries now, 1 up front for 54lb bow mount and sounder, 2 up the back for the 86lb. plus if the motor gets damaged or gives up its still cheap to replace
