It must be our turn..

Post by skin » Mon Oct 29, 2012 8:16 pm

Ok guys
While the memories from this years convention are fresh in everyones minds and the place getters are still smiling from ear to ear, I'd like to say that its about time the convention made its way back to NSW.
I reckon you Queenslanders have had it pretty good for a long time now and its about time you made the trip south to fish the grand final on our turf. I know I've made the trip north three out of the last five years and some have made it more.
We have an awesome venue in Lake StClair, it fishes well around this time of year, has plenty of room for camping, some powered sites, no problems using generators to charge batteries, plenty of accommadation down the road in Singleton for those who want it a bit flasher, and being that the campground is fairly central on the lake, plenty of areas to fish not far from the start.
Bass pro's are run at this venue every year with no problems and the same goes for electrics. So come on ABT, its must be our turn.
Cheers
Mick Skinner

I agree St Clair would be a good venue, at least we could all sit around after the sessions an share a drink or 2 in a more social environment as a group. Being next year though ,i wil worry about it if i qualify. It was mentioned that BP may be the venue so i guess we will just wait an see.

Clarrie Hall for sure. It ticks all the boxes.

Not many nicer dams & perfectly suited to all types of electric & pedal/paddle vessels.

I reckon I could organize a Council permit for camping on the dam itself.

Let me know if you would like me to check it out just in case.
