Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bass Series R2 Blue Rock Lake- ROLL CALL

Post by GregLewis » Fri Feb 21, 2014 8:26 am

After the great success of the opening round of the 2014 Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bass Series at Tallowa Dam, we look forward to bringing the event to a brand new venue, and indeed a brand new State, for Round 2 which is to be held on Sunday 9th March.
For the very first time, Blue Rock Lake in Victoria will play host to some of the countrys' most dedicated kayak anglers as they chase down spots in this years Bass Grand Final.
Already having proved at Tallowa that they can catch bass as well as they can catch bream, the Victorian anglers have already stamped authority on the Series, and it is certainly going to be interesting seeing how they will perform on their home turf...

Situated just north of Moe, this stunning reservoir has potential for some terrific results and we are expecting a great turn out for this event.

There is some IMPORTANT house keeping to advise of for this event.

Blue Rock Lake is a drinking water storage area managed by Southern Rural Water. Given the environmental sensitivity of this waterway the issue of contamination needs to be addressed.
All participants in the Blue Rock Lake Kayak BASS event need to ensure their kayaks are clean and free from any dirt, aquatic weed or vegetation prior to placing their kayaks in/on the waterway. A visual inspection of kayaks will be conducted prior to the event. All kayaks displaying dirt, weed or vegetation will need to be washed down prior to entering the event (a tap and hose will be provided). This is a requirement of all competitors. Failure to comply with this directive will result in competitors/s being unable to compete in the event and forfeiture of all entry fees. To save time it is suggested to clean your kayak prior to arrival at the event. Remember when transferring your kayak from one waterway to another that you should always wash the kayak down prior to entering the next waterway.

If you are attending this event, please add your name to the Roll Call below.
Best of luck everyone, this will be a great comp.
