Round 1 of the Hobie B.A.S.S. Australia Nation Kayak Series is set to kick off on Sunday February 1st at Lake Macdonald on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and will be held in conjunction with the the B.A.S.S. Australia Nation Electric Series.

Lake Macdonald is a relatively small dam where a kayaker could quite easily traverse to the farthest reaches during a session and the dam is well known for its surface bite during summer as well as producing other species such as Yellowbelly and Saratoga.
