O.T Short Break at Port Melbourne

Post by Jeremy Schrader » Fri May 21, 2010 8:18 am

Well had a short session down at the bay yesterday evening, with the low tide change coinciding with sun set and work proving to be a hassle I decided that a short session down at Port Melbourne was in order.

Using the TTLD and TT Lite matched to the Daiwa SL30SH and the Penn 525 Tmag respectively I sent out some whitebait loaded 2/0 circle hooks. Straight after the ebb and as the tide started to move the Pinkies came on the bite. Three fish in a row as well as a bigger fish was dropped due to allowing slack line

Still a great way to spend an evening and the fish will make a top meal baked in foil in the oven :D

Will be heading out again this evening hitting the coast and hopefully will be able to get a Gummy or Schooly
