BERKLEY NSW SUMMER SERIES.

Post by mango » Sat Sep 06, 2008 6:57 pm

Summer Series Anglers, despite all the rumors floating around the Berkley Summer Series is being run this year. Scott and myself have been flat out at Trade/ Boat shows etc and have been talking with ABT re suitable dates to avoid any clashes. We will submit dates shortly, remember it is a summer series and only a few days into spring.

The Iceman, yes we are considering another round time pending, you will be notified in due course. Lake Mac sounds good for a warm water surface bite.

Initially there was talk of more than 3 rounds, now the "bay" has been dropped for this season. Last 2 years had a good turnout there. The 3 round series has always attracted good numbers, if it aint broken why change it?

Good call Stompy - there's nothing to stop ANYONE running an event, you just have to get off your A$$ and do it :D

Ha ha,
I think there is a bit of healthy competition developing here.....
This years "Challenge" could be a Grudge match! Let you fishing do the talking boys!

Hey Mango, Sad to see the Bay area miss out this year, but I understand how hard it is to put these things together. Also good to leave these fish for the Morgan boys to smash next boat show

PM me if you need a hand to organise something in late 09.

Jay

I think every one knows that the people who run these events give up a lot of their own personnel time.
I think you guys missed the point, Hungry one was making a joke! Ha Ha
You guys seem to be taking yourselves a bit to serious.
When we cant have a bit of fun and take the pi$$ out of each other there is something wrong.

I personally had a huge cack at Hungry ones comment!

Keep up the good work Mango / Scottie. Looking forward to enjoying your comps this year.

Mango, put me down for some Mango wraps mate. Sick of lures tangling all my rods together

LASTLY, Stomp you are a suck!

Summer challenge

Post by stompy » Fri Oct 17, 2008 10:30 am

Waz,

Mate, I'm sure you could run a Loreal event  . Considering all the products you use. Or maybe Country energy, all that electricity from the hair driver use should put at the top of their list.

I'm always funny on Fridays!!!

Good onya for organising it again Mango, I'll going to try and get down to fish one of the events with Waz here and make sure he isn't using hair product as his new secret sent, if he'll still let me on the boat
