During my time over Tenterfield I also ducked up to Wallangarra and caught Terry Marshall at home. My desire with lure collecting is to meet the makers myself which makes thee lures more interesting to me. There seems to be a common theme with many of these guys. Shed out the back with draws, benches and rafters covered in lure blanks in various stages of completion.

They all are more than happy to have a chat to a stranger and tell them about their lures (and they all have a right to be proud of them too!)
Terry was no different and I enjoyed catching up with him. I will be back again with an order now I know what he has in way of models (alot more than I thought

) but picked these few up whilst there. The top and bottom ones are old models that he has not made for many years and were in the shed. Could not pass that opportunity up when he offered the big fella to me as a gift
Whilst Terry come from QLD he is only a stones throw (literally) from the border and has a New England Style much more than what I would describe a QLD type lure to be (And it fits into my collection as well

)
