Carl's Fundraiser

Post by Bruce Anderson » Thu Aug 26, 2010 11:48 am

State of Origin Dec 11-12th
Lets help Carl on his way to the States. Got to make sure he has got enough in his pocket so he doesn't have to come back in a hurry.
One less Queenslander at the comps . How good will that be.
It's going to be a great weekend with lots on offer apart from just fishing.

Hi Rob,

You can have up to 3 people per team but it will still only be a 4 fish limit per session.
Also guys remember that it is total average weight per State. So if one State has a larger number of teams than the other it won't matter.
I will be doing all the calculating so everything will be just spot on.!!!!! :P

Bruce, thats the weekend after the first round of the 2011 BETS series (dates released to public next week) so hopefully I will be able to make it. BTW I don't think you should be so sure that QLD will win the tug-awar, I know you told me you are backing them on the side because you think they are a bunch of over weight wingers but I think that if you keep on saying that you are only going to stir them up so I won't tell anyone else you said that.....honest.

Hey Brucey the only crying that will be going on will be when Qld beats you guys in the tug of war and then again when i smash you in an arm wrestle  and then again at the end of the weekend when QLD takes the title!! Haha Im looking forward to catching up with everyone, its going to be a great fun weekend. Im blown away by the generosity of everyone who is willing to support the weekend. Jas Wilhelm has just put up a Thousand dollar 2 person Charter with BarraMadness, an unreal prize along with many more to come, its going to make for an awesome weekend along with the NSW QLD rivalry!

Cheers Carl

We have our tactics worked out for the Tuga-war.
We are going to put Mango our ugliest member of the squad up the front to scare you QLD'S to death and big David Mudd our biggest team member at the back to anchor the team.
You have got no chance.

We can't loose with MUDDY as anchor, at best it will be a draw! I would like to see anyone move Muddy.

Casey Stoner heading to Glenbawn for the State of Origin, and fishing with Jas Wilhelm in the Barramadness team.
A bit light for the Tuga-War though.

Hey Guys, This has gone well beyond my expectations, really cant believe the support we are getting for the Comp. Everything is looking good to go, i booked my flights during the week so im off mid January! I will be fishing the West Coast for the first few months throughout California, a few as a Non Boater while i get my feet on the ground and then hand pick a few to start as a Boater once im set up! Next few months are going to fly past keen to get over there! Looking foward to catching up with everyone on the comp weekend and also going away knowing QLDers have it all over NSW in everything aswell as Bass fishing :P

Cheers Carl
