I don't normally spruik peoples prices but thought I would share this one. I've been looking around for the past few weeks at the Shimano Stradic reels- I had originally hoped to pick up the FI which I preferred to the new white FJ version. I was hoping a 6000 size was still around soemwhere. I was contemplating buying overseas but don't really like this option as I much prefer to support the Tackle Warehouse, Tackle Shop at Carseldine (Fishhead is a bit far out for me).
I went into Allround Angler at Caboolture and found an 8000 size FI for $169.
Compare this to the $270+ for the new FJ I think it is very good value.
