Hi Guys,
I see the umbrella rig in the US is doing well and was wondering whats the ruling on fishing the umbrella rig with five lures at once in your bream, bass and barra comps?

Re: UMBRELLA RIG
We were told on the weekend that at this stage this rig is against the rules in Bass comps.

OK guys, who would be interested in fishing this umbrella rig socially and catching 2 to 3 fish at a time? PM me if interested.

Hi Guys,
Just checked with fisheries and you can't use the umbrella rig in our freshwater dams and rivers as they only allow one lure per line. In the saltwater however you can use up to 6 lures per line so if your fishing for bream or flathead you can use this umbrella rig.
Very interesting.

I wonder how these would go on estuary species. I reckon flathead would love em bounced over the flats
